No vista desktop modification is complete without changing the system tray icons.

Now if you want to really make your Windows Vista appears to be Windows 7 you'll have to use this.

I've used Microsoft Windows 7 resources (build 7000) to recreate the taskbar icons on vista, which includes:

Volume
Network
Power
Security Center

Here you can download Windows XP version too... it needs an update but right now you can use the battery icon...

Installation

Take ownership of the files in X:\Windows\System32\
Rename them to name-of-file_backup.dll just to be sure you can repair any damage done
Copy the files provided at the same location
Restart or log off and on

Note: Change the extension of the original "wscui.cpl" to "wscui.cpl.something" if you don't you'll have two Security Centers in Control Panel

They are tested to work properly, if you find a bug please let me now. Also I'm not held responsible for any damage caused by you, use it at your own risk.

I'm using it right now, the screenie provided was taken using the style from ~giannisgx89 and my icons.

Feel free to use it in whatever you want as long as you give me the credit
